The exhibition "The Charm of Blue and White"
The exhibition features British transferware (18th–21st centuries) in Latvian museums and private collections. The exhibition provides an insight into the broad, original and visually attractive field of applied decorative art, which the British themselves call English transfer-printed pottery or in an abbreviated form – as English transferware.
Exhibition "Phlox 2024"
The exhibition is curated by phlox collector and cultivator Tatjana Kočāne from Rugāji. In her garden in Latgale region many flowers and other plants are growing, including around 200 phlox varieties. Around 20 of those are cultivated by her and will be exhibited. The "Apple Blossom" variety, bred in the 20th century in Ukraine, was recognized as the most beautiful flower at the exhibition.
Jelgava Exhibition of Latvian Railway History Museum
We visited the exhibition of the Latvian Railway History Museum in Jelgava, which is located in a residential building of railway workers built in 1904. We had the opportunity to get acquainted with a number of things without which work on the railway is impossible.
